Some people are fueled by coffee; me, you put tea in and (I hope) get science out. I shall now ceremoniously drink my first cup of tea in 2007! It should inspire me to finish this compare-the-Dalitz-plots code.

It worked; my plots are not just lovely esthetically speaking, I think they show some useful stuff.

Yum, tea. I'm a big fan of Rooibois and Spiced Chai, myself. Rooibois has no caffeine, and is so relaxing. Chai is also relaxing, but has caffeine. One for when I wake up, and one for when I go to bed, perhaps?

Coffee for me, baby! All the way! And my last cup of 2006 was the same as my first of 2007. That's what I get for working nights.

I have to swear off coffee for several times a week. It makes my stomach hurt so badly So it's Earl Grey for me, but tea doesn't work as well.

Mack: Usually bags when I'm at university. At home, both. Although at university I do have a tinsy little tea pot ( ) that if I had any tea leaves, would be perfect for them. All I need now is a tinsy little tea cosy .

I got some Tippy Assam for Christmas from my sister and today I bought some Imperial Gunpowder. Both are by Taylors of Harrogate. I adore them both. Oh, and unless I have no other choice, I will use loose tea every time. (Well... excepting that time when we got Earl Grey in silk tea bags. THAT was some good tea...)

I don't drink tea - Word of Wisdom and all that - but I do make it for Fahim and his parents. And Fahim's mom instructed me on the correct way to make proper Sri Lankan tea.
Start off with Ceylon (Sri Lankan) tea, loose. Put three teaspoons in a cup and pour in 1/2 cup boiling water. In another cup, put in 1/2 cup milk and 4 teaspoons sugar. Yes, that's 4 teaspoons sugar. If you're Fahim, you'll want more. Strain the tea into the cup with the milk and sugar and mix. If you like your tea strong, like Fahim does, let steep for a few minutes. If you like it weak, let it steep for half a minute or less.
Fall into a diabetic coma.

I would love to hear what other kinds of teas the rest of you like. I have taken to substituting tea for some of my many-cups-of-coffee during the day, in order to wean myself away from coffee gradually.
I have found I really enjoy the green teas. But what else should I try that is easily available? (I drink tea HOT only -- no iced teas for me!)

Fahim also likes Moroccan Mint Tea, which is green tea with mint. He says it's really really good.

Farmgirl - I drink a lot of herbal at work - my favorites are blueberry (with honey) and orange (usually without). Aromatic and delicious all at once! Green tea I like iced. Yum. Oh, and mint tea, hot.
...
Excuse me, I have to go heat up some water now...

I hate our lack of selection on herbal teas. Seriously, I can only take so much rosehip & hibiscus, mint, chamomile, and lemon zinger before I get seriously, seriously bored.

Ill stop by Chao's and get some Winter Melon Tea as my first tea of the year. It just wouldn't feel right to drink any other kind for me.

Gyah. Yesterday I made the mistake of drinking soda after midnight. Didn't get to sleep until after 0300.
