Since every horror film of the past 50-60 years seems to be getting an extra-gory big budget Hollywood remake these days...how long before we see -this- trailer?
STUDIO LOGO
TEXT ON SCREEN: There is no way out of here.
MONTAGE- Scenes of a car filled with (what else?) BEAUTIFUL TEENAGERS driving pasts fields and farmland.
CLOSE-UP on the "lead teen", MICHAEL kissing his girlfriend, MARGARET.
TEXT ON THE SCREEN: It'll be dark soon.
We see the car turn down a barren, rocky looking road with a sign...VALLEY LODGE.
MUSIC begins, discordant, ugly.
MARGARET (offscreen voice): "Mike, I don't like this."
MONTAGE- rapid shots of burning torches, strange idols, and mysterious WOMEN in ROBES
MICHAEL: "There's nothing to worry about, it's all your imagination."
MONTAGE- Rapid shots of a growling, vicious DOG, a BURNING HAND, a mysterious MAN in a ROBE
ROBED WOMAN (offscreen voice): "The others must die. They all must DIE!"
TEXT ON SCREEN: He has left the world, but he is with us always...he is always with us.
YET ANOTHER MONTAGE: Brief glimpses of DRUNK, MAKING OUT TEENS, SWEATY, BELLIGERANT COPS, WRESTLING ROBED WOMEN!
Finally, we see MICHAEL, MARGARET, and other other BEAUTIFUL TEENS pull up beside a bizarre, ramshackle BED & CULT-FEST. The door creaks open, and out shuffles....
TORGO: "I aM tOrGo. I tAkE cArE oF tHe PlAcE wHiLe ThE mAsTeR iS aWaY..."
DRAMATIC MUSIC STING, FILM LOGO: MANOS: THE HANDS OF FATE
(The haunting TORGO theme plays quietly as the film credits are shown)
