Hey, that worked so well for Tstorm I though I might try.

It’s bugging me that I can’t remember the name and author of a SF novel I read in the 80’s (I think). And Google hasn’t helped me so far.

The novel is about a serum that would activate a certain part of the brain and give the person mind reading ability. But the serum becomes available to everyone before the inventors realize that it is a really bad idea. Because it strips away all privacy barriers. So the world (or country, whatever) is thrown into chaos and anarchy.

But the novel ends on a positive note because folks start to learn to adjust and society starts to function again.

So do any of you know what novel that is?

Sounds interesting, but I don't think I know it. Though I do seem to remember a cartoon episode (what cartoon I can't for the life of me remember) that had to do with a mind reading machine being used by the villains.

Yeah, sorry, that was no help at all [Razz] .

I just googled up a review of that one. Nope, not the one. Dang.

But it does look interesting, though. Thanks [Smile]
