Yeah, my buddy was pretty upset yesterday when he found out. He was a big fan.

You know, I read about this the day before Christmas, and me and my father were both saddened by the news of his demise.
I will be playing one of his live records on the last day of the year as a salute.

******flippant remark******

But at least we know what song they'll be playing at his funeral. "James Brown is Dead".

Yes, well that's perhaps something to do with the timezones (I'm in Europe). But now I'm not quite sure when I read it. And when I try to calculate time differences my head starts hurting. I could be wrong about the date. Anyway... that's just details.

Just wondering.

James Brown, passed away about the same time as Gerald Ford.

Now some wonder when the third shoe will fall.

I wonder, could they have been the same person? A little make up, a little voice training, it could happen. Compare their careers. Brown was almost unseen during Ford's Presidency.

Just a thought.

Just a wierd, sick, odd thought.

True enough.

Usually it's three people we're actually sad to see go, but I suppose three is three. A beloved president, a memorable entertainer, and a memorable mad man. That's all over the spectrum.
