I currently use the 'Sage' extension for Firefox to read feeds. There is really nothing wrong with this handy little tool, but I'm beginning to think that a more email-client-like feed reader would be better for me. I tend to have trouble keeping things in context with Sage, and I think a more Thunderbird like layout will make it easier for me to go through my feeds and identify which I've already read.

What I want to be able to do is open it up, read/scan all my feeds in a sitting, and forget about them until the next morning. I'd very much prefer open source freeware.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Lisa.

It looks like NetNewsWire is what I want, but I still haven't switched to Mac like I've intended to.
