I'd rather not discuss my reasons for requesting this at this time, but could anybody refer me to a reputable and effective free key logger program? It sickens me that I think I need one but I need to put some doubts at rest. TIA [Frown]

That only has 40 minutes of free logging. It cost's $50 to register it. I'm searching for a better one now. Hope everything's alright man.

Here is one that evidently offers a free 7-day trial. My internet connection here is miserably slow so I haven't tried it out yet, but if you only need it for a week, that might work.

Edit: Most of them are evil and say there are free but then say "Oh, the unregistered version which can't do crap is free. The one you actually want is $60". I haven't been able to find one that fits my perfectionist standards. But it depends on how long you need it, how thorough you need it, and how stealthy you need it. Let me know and I'll search more if you so desire.

You guys have been VERY helpful, I hope I only need it for a week, or more accurately I wish I didn't need it at all.

edit: If it proves insufficient for my needs Ill keep looking and mention it on this thread.

For some reason the program hits some sort of ceiling and resets all the logs if too many keystrokes go on in a single 24 hour period. I'm still finding the stuff I was looking for but to a much smaller degree then I'd like.

Any suggestions Dr? I know you have not used the software extensively but being totally wiped out with the flu is certainly making me dumber.

If you're finding the stuff you're looking for, and you don't want to be looking for it in the first place, isn't confirming the existence of this "stuff" enough reason to now stop?

I'm trying to ascertain the entire extent of the problem. I'd rather build up a substantial comprehensive case as soon as possible rather then languish an entire week and have "more or less" what I need.

Got your back. The first one under the "Freeware" heading appears to be pretty good. I haven't seen a cap on it, though I suppose there could be. It seems pretty straight forward though. I do echo Tom though ... Be careful. Don't be a masochist.

Certainly not, I WANT there to be as little foul play as possible, I hate the fact I even have to do this at all.
