The merely "okay" teaser for the anticipated movie....

The deal-killer is Andy Serkis' performance as Capricorn. While the Capricorn of the book is certainly a larger than life, scenery-chewing villain, he's not campy.

Much as I love Andy, he's camping up a storm in that teaser.

Oh, well.

Saw the teaser before Golden Compass.

My brother and I had a similar "ehhh" reaction to it. I wasn't super impressed.

Maybe its because I haven't read the book, but Andy Serkis was the only part of the trailer I really enjoyed.
