We talked briefly about it in the fall, and I mentioned it again in Blayne's thread, but I don't know how many people will see there.

It's been almost two years since that last Toronto Hatrack gathering, and I think it's time for another.

I'm thinking late April, after most people are done exams, etc.

Anyone interested?

I'm very interested, but whether or not I have the leave necessary to make the trip is up in the air.

I'll be there in spirit... Hopefully, Fahim won't kill me to achieve that... [Razz]

Late April means what weather, approximately?

Cool, but probably above freezing. Likelihood of rain. Could be warm and sunny. April is a tricksy month.

I'll be there, assuming exams haven't killed me and I've managed to find sufficient summer work that my parents haven't shipped me back home and onto the construction sites again.

"Probably above freezing" does not equal "cool" in my book. [Razz]

Not that I'd be able to make it anyway, but right now +40 F looks warm to me!

Ooooh, I'd love to be there for anything below, say, 28 Celsius - that would be gloriously cool. [Cool]

I can do a Toronto gathering at pretty much any time, so I'm in more or less regardless of when you hold it. [Smile]

End of April is a 'tricksy' month for my where-I-am-going-to-be question. However, there are certain obligations that I may have to finish up here anyway, so I might indeed be sticking around (somehow) in Toronto for a bit longer than exams last. I may even end up with a job here.

I will of course do everything I can to come.

*bump*

So, those who are interested, do you have any opinion on weekends?

I'm in favor of them. Five days in a week is not enough.

We'll be gone April 28th-May 6th or thereabouts. Don't plan for us if that is the best weekend for everyone else, though. [Smile]

I'd be interested in attempting some in-person lurking. [Cool] The weekend doesn't matter to me either since I'm in Toronto anyway.
