A humbling experience: Things Other People Accomplished When They Were Your Age

It doesn't always list the most impressive examples, but chances are there's something 'great' on that list which you haven't done yet!

I for one am happy I haven't yet been charged for 12 murders; something Billy the Kid achieved by my age.

Why should my ego feel deflated?
As a citizen of the FirstWorld, there was never much incentive to achieve greatness. Throw me in a benighted backwater...
...and I'd still probably be an underachiever. But at least I wouldn't be so hoity-toity about it.....maybe.
