Captain Tightpants is the leading man in a new series, titled "Drive," and created by Whedon's Right Hand himself, Tim Minear. It tells the story of an illegal cross-country road race, in which participants are given very, ah, personal reasons to race.
The show premiers this Sunday night, but the first four minutes of the pilot have been posted online as a preview. Fans of Minear and Whedon will appreciate a few surprise cameos. And speaking as someone who hates driving and doesn't have any interest in racing of any sort, I have to say that this show is already looking damn good. Early reports say that "Drive" is as dark, dramatic, funny, and character-driven as the rest of Minear's previous shows, including "Firefly" and "Angel."

I've seen the first two episodes. It's good. And FOX has already given it more promotion than the last three Minnear shows combined.

This looks pretty good. Now that BSG is over, I needed something to watch Sunday Night before Dresden Files.
