I'm missing a reference here. What movie are you talking about?

Papa Moose is totally Captain Picard.

Under his guidance, we boldly explore new territory, he rights us when we go off course. Okay I don't have any more for the analogy, but they're both cool, and he's just Picard. That's all there is to it.

He's very cool, only slightly insane, and has a dry wit. So... Captain Jack Sparrow? [Wink]

Just kidding, Papa! If we're doing Pirates, he'd probably be Will.

For a minute there I read that as Captain Jack Harkness and I was like "Awesome Torchwood reference, but no." I think now that just turns into a solid no. [Razz]

I think I'm gonna have to throw my lot in with the Captain Picard... or maybe Bill Adama. He's not crazy enough to be any of the Doctors.

Which incidentally, these are all TV heroes rather than movie. Just you know, thought I'd point that out [Big Grin]

I think Spiderman. All the sweetness and a reluctant hero, but he loves the city and so he uses his webbing powers for good.

Papa Moose, after having a life-altering experience in his childhood, decides to put on the cape and cowl and become........PapaJanitor.

"I am vengeance. I am the knight. I am PAPAJANITOR!"

Definitely Boothby.

Always ready with wise council and a kind word, but with observant reserve. Keeps the place running smooth.

Edit: Papa Groundskeeper?

There's already been a Ninth doctor. Papa Moose would have to be the 11th.

Edit: which I really hope won't happen. Sorry Pops, you're great and all, but you just can't compete with David Tennant.

I'd have to agreen to katharina, but the Boothby suggestion was also good.

What about Gandalf?
