I'm going on Saturday to see some author friends launch their book, Prime Codex. I'm hoping to attend some panels, and get some ideas on how to go about getting my novel published when the time comes.
I might see if Pournelle remembers that I jokingly threatened to hit him with a six inch glass statue, too.
