A script I'm writing is supposed to upload a file into a subdirectory of my htdocs folder in my apache directory. When I call move_uploaded_file(), it gives me an error saying that permission is denied. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this. Is it an Apache issue, or is it windows one? I tried googling for an answer, but I didn't get anything that looked like the problem I was having.

Does the user under which the script is running have rights to the directory?

It should. I'm not really sure how to check or change permissions with windows, though. Is there a windows equivalent to chmod?

Edit:

Oh man, stupid error on my part this time. Apparently, I managed to not include the filename on the destination, so it was trying to overwrite the directory with the file.
