Because songs where someone is singing about cheating on a person GET ON MY LAST NERVES!
But I could see cases like in this Chinese movie with Gong Li where she played a woman being abused by her old husband and ran off with his son but was binded and trapped due to filial piety and the fact that so many Chinese movies need to be as sad and tragic as possible. I can't really blame a person in that sort of situation, but casual cheating bugs me, but it's not always so clear cut, and do they have to sing about it?

There's a very easy way to avoid those predicaments, namely not listening to those songs.

True, but then they just come on the Launchcast R and B station (and sometimes Country, and sometimes pop) and just annoy me.

But anyway, it's not you turning into OSC. It's actually one of those slowly, gradually decreasing number of things which I agree with OSC on.

It's the start of one of the better early poems about an affair!
