A while back someone posted a link to a site that contained, they said, detailed summaries of the first 6 Potter books. I'm thinking that it's unlikely that I'll have time to finish the 6th book before the 7th comes out, but I'm not having any luck finding the thread that contained the link. I'm loath to just google and find the site, as I'm wanting to avoid spoilers for the 7th book at all costs, and am worried that I might inadvertently see something that I'd rather not. Could someone post a link to the summary site?

I spent the last few days reading through that site (the first one). It has pretty good summaries and did the job to refresh me on some details but it could use a better editor. There are missing articles in many sentences and some of the chapters refer to things that happened in earlier chapters but weren't mentioned in the summary for that chapter.
Overall it was a good way to quickly catch up though.

www.hp-lexicon.org was the one I used for Harry Potter mafia, but the synopses are not what I remembered. What they do have is very nice cross-referenced guides if you run across a name that doesn't make sense, or if you want to read up in depth on someone. It's kind of like a wiki.

Sure, but the longer I wait to read book 7, the liklier it is that I'll overehear a spoiler or something.
That said, I got far enough in book 6 over lunch today that I'm thinking that it's more likely that I'll have time to finish it before the 21st than I'd thought.
