It's surprising how we all remember the name of a character that died very early on in the very first Star Wars.

Maybe because his name is "Greedo"?

I blame it on the sheer number of times I have seen that movie. But Greedo is a bit easier to remember then say Gylanixoflan.

And I only learned Greedo's name when this thread made me go to wikipedia for a summary of the whole "Han Shot First" thing so that I knew what the above link was about!
