to all you U.S. jatraqueros. Do you have the day off? Are you doing something fun? Are you reading this on Tuesday because you had better things to do than log on to BFF&C on your long weekend?

I went on a short hike/walk this morning up Kennesaw Mountain. I could barely see the Atlanta skyline a few miles away for all the haze and smog. But it was a lovely morning for a hike.

I have to work for the rest of the day. Oh well, hope y'all are having picnics and fun and so forth!

I get paid vacation time off today! I'm just about to get some breakfast ready for my wife before she wakes up, (she is sleeping in today). Who knows how the day will pan out!? The morning is looking promising though! I will not look at the forums the rest of the day.

I'm trying to catch up on homework today!

Then maybe I'll go to the crafts store.

Yeah, my life is exciting. [Razz]

I have the day off, and two of three kids have school. The other is busy reading HP6.

I think I may go back to sleep . . . [Smile]

Day off for KPC (and everyone else in my family!) My dad and his fiancé are coming over tonight and grilling for us (too hot at their place.) Then we're all going swimming. I'm making mango sorbet.

Took Saturday and Sunday off, but came in today to post a blog entry (not written by me), catch up with email and read other participants in today's blogstorm.

We will be watching my birthday Star Trek and eating my birthday cake. Brian took tomorrow off and I think we're doing Pike Place.

I worked Saturday, went to church yesterday, and I had class and worked today, and I have a meeting later today. Whoopee freaking do. I didn't get a day off.

I had the day off (still got paid though. yay!) I spent it in the city with my boyfriend who I hadn't seen in two weeks.

It was kind of weird because all the good local restaurants and stores are closed on Sunday. Then they were all closed again today. We walked to our favorite sandwich shop at high noon in the Louisiana heat to discover it and the nearby ice cream shop closed.

So we spent the afternoon learning how to solve a Rubik's Cube. Now he's getting ready for his first day of teaching tomorrow and I'm surfing the internet because I do some work on my thesis.
