In For Better or For Worse this week the gradual shift towards a "frozen" strip begins. From now on, most of the stories will be flashbacks via the photo album, while the present-day cast members gradually (oh-so-gradually) stumble their way to that big Liz-Anthony wedding at some point in '08.
After which, Mike's two sweet, newly ageless li'l kidlets will be the focus of the strip. Awwww.
Eh, who am I kidding?
I just hope Grandpa Jim is given a dignified death, and that they rush through Liz's ill-advised marriage as swiftly as possible.

Just compare the weird, retcon versions of young Elly and John with the actual young couple from a 1979 vintage strip.
