I remember Paddington!

Though as I recall, the books are mostly gentle, whimsical stories with a very dry sense of humor.

No fart jokes or flailing about.

Is that even allowed in a family film these days? [Wink]

I always mix up Paddington and Corduroy. I remember Corduroy a lot better.

Paddington is supposed to be a "real" little humanoid bear. Corduroy was an animate Teddy Bear. I think. It's been years since I read either book.

My little brother loved Paddington; he used to ask for marmalade sandwiches.

I recall the large marrow (I thought it was a bone he grew in the garden), the ever-expanding dough, the Bear Market over the Bulls, so much.

I loved Paddington. His author inspired me to write stories.
