You know what I'm talking about, a thread of grandiose proportion in which the poster links the ultimate spam, the embodiment of drugs and porn and gambling and insurance itself which must not be clicked upon regardless of the desire.
In recent weeks, in discussions of cialis, phentermine, tramadol, and the like I have heard many people refer to the time honored mythic race to the whistle against the spam post. People argue about what qualities such a post must have and whether a particular thread lives up to the tradition.
<Too tired this morning to keep going. Links removed, Syn wins by several lengths.>

I went to Wal-Mart tonight after work. There were several young people hanging out at the entrance and one young lady looked at me as I walked in and said, "Have you ever been a hooker? Cause you look like you could be a hooker."
I just kept walking.
I'm not sure where she got that idea. I know a little bit about crocheting, but I'm not very good at all. I can do latch hook, but I don't have any equipment or a kit and haven't done that since my late teens.
I guess it's too much to ask that a person who hangs out at the entrance of Wal-Mart on a Saturday night would be very discerning about my crafty talents.

When I was asking Slash once what profession I should choose for my next one (I like to change professions every 10 years or so) he suggested I become a hooker with a heart of gold. I suggested he should NOT become a career counselor.
I mean sheesh, everyone knows the hooker with the heart of gold always dies an ugly death in the early part of the story so the fair-minded hero can find her killer and make him pay. Who needs that?
