Anyone here have experience with this content management system? I have to use it for a class of mine and would really love having someone I could send a few questions at.

I'm only just now trying out the latest version of Drupal, I had hacked at one of the earliest versions for a bit and used a slightly later version to run a small site.
I highly recommend the drupal community as a good place to find answers, too.
