Except without the sex or the Buffy the vampireness.

Its like they took Torchwood section 1 (the one destoryed at Cannary Warf) and made the American version and while I am hoping for a plausible Doctor geust appearence I must say I really like this show it even has Michael Shanks in one episode playing very similarily to his Daniel Jackson character.

Really nice show, nice bits of humor, all of the sciency stuff I like and also seems fairly plausible in some way.

I don't know, I think there's a big gap to go from archeologist to alchemist.

not really the Alchemist character acts and possesses nearly the exact same mannerisms.

EDIT: Oh, I see, Eureka. I'm not sure I agree that it's like Torchwood really at all, although I too like it [Smile] . Not watched it recently, though. I might for Michael Shanks, now that I know he's got a role in it.

Well, it is the same actor. [Smile]

I felt the alchemist was rather pompous and rude (although the scientist who encoutered him was equal in negativity), deffinatly not characteristics of Daniel Jackson.

The episode really reminded me of the Full Metal Alchemist anime.

I just moved to Northern California. I do my shopping in Eureka. I've yet to see any flying saucers.
