I know the media stuff is Puffy Treat's bailiwick, but this is so cool.
Have any of you been watching quarterlife? It's this show on the web. It's kind of like My So-Called Life in flavor (which makes sense, because it's being made by Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick, who did that show), and each ep is about 8-10 minutes. There've been four eps so far, and the show "airs" twice weekly, on Sunday and Thursday nights.
Anyway, NBC is picking the show up. It's probably a first, but, well, read this. The 36 eps they're doing this season are going to be turned into 6 hour-long eps on NBC starting in early '08.
I think the move from web to TV is wicked cool, and the show is fantastic. I recommend it highly.
