I just watched Enchanted. While I enjoyed it, the only thing I totally loved about it was Amy Adams. She manages to give Giselle some truly wonderful moments that -almost- make the film seem deeper than just the cute, fluffy movie it mainly is.
There's that early scene where Giselle is transformed from ink and paint to flesh and blood. Right before that Times Square bit seen in the trailer. The confusion, shock, and dawning horror were utterly convincing.
Then there's the scene where Giselle experiences true anger for the first time in her life. It's a threshold that she can never cross back. Again, Adams makes that scene convincing. Great, even.
It helps that she also has a very Kristin Chenoweth-esque singing voice.

oooooooo I LOVE her. Her voice is so pretty and high. I think I will see this movie as I need something light hearted to take my mind off of impending doom.
