Hmm... I hope they do do it in conventional 2-D. They made 3-D models for the computer game, and I remember thinking it lost some of its charm in the translation.

Well... I was wondering if they'd ever do this film series. I mean, Looney Toons humor coupled with epic fantasy--what a lucrative venture!
I got the one volume edition about a year ago. It's somewhat cheesy, though mostly entertaining. I could see it becoming a full-blown Hollywood blockbuster... as long as they keep it in 2-D.
EDIT: Oh, and thank goodness they killed the Nickelodeon version. Pop songs in Bone? No. Doesn't work, never would. And as for a children audience--I could see children watching the film, but things DIE in the series. Quite graphically, too, with gore aplenty. Lots of war and combat.

Smith also revealed Nick was trying to cast little kids as the voices of the Bone brothers, even though said characters are adults.
