Hmmm.

Bruce and Betty seem spot-on, as does General Ross.

Hate the new design for the Abomination though.

I find it a little boggling that they think another Hulk movie is needed after just 5 years. I'm one of the few that really thinks the first one didn't suck. I thought the casting was perfect with Eric Bana, the gorgeous Jennifer Connelly, and Sam Elliot. I liked how it tried to break conventions with it's style, and that the story took precedence over comic-book action. The CG got the job done, and my only complaint was in the very odd ending.

This new movie just seems unnecessary, and I already have visual placeholders for what these characters *should* look like on screen. Besides a graphics update, what really needed an overhaul from the original Hulk?

Of course, I'll keep an open mind--this might very well be a great movie. The 2003 movie wasn't successful, and I can't imagine this one doing much better.

The character is one of Marvel's most recognizable world-wide. They had big hopes that the first film would spawn a franchise. It didn't. It didn't break even domestically, the worldwide box office was nothing to write home about...Marvel is wanting to "fix" what they see as one of their key money-making characters.

Not saying I agree with them making another Hulk movie, just that it's not too hard to understand why they did a reboot.

The first one was good. I liked it. But it really had very little to do with the Marvel character. It was like a parallel version of the Hulk. This one looks like it's going to be a lot more faithful.

Meh. I've never liked the Hulk. That doesn't look like it's going to change with this.

That did look good, or at least promising. Hulk smash low expectations! [ROFL]

Loved the casting in the first one, although I agree that Ed Norton looks a lot more like Banner than the tall and broad-shouldered Eric Bana. But the convoluted plot, Talbot's silly explosion-freeze scene, HULKdogs, and the impossible-to-make-out ending was ridiculous. The CGI was good, though.
