The window wasn't even clean, that's natural selection.

We had a robin that kept flying into our dinning room window. I'm talking 30-40 times a day. I put my cardboard cutout of Princess Leia in the window and it immediately stopped.

The comments at that link are the most illiterate I've ever seen. And that's saying a lot, I get around.

I had a cardinal once that kept trying to get in the kitchen window. It made me really sad. I guess there's no reason to assume cardinals would be sharper than other birds, but I was a Virginian for a good part of my life.

I can't be sure, but I think the comments were modded with some filter. Notice at the top of the comments section, it says:

quote:
Hey, what's with all the misspelled words?

» Learn Lolspeak — teh furst language born of teh intertubes.

It lolspeak. It's not modded, but they're speaking that way on purpose. The whole site is full of rather hilariously cute commented pictures of animals -- and that's the "language" they use to comment the pictures. I came across that one at around 2 am last night and sat laughing at it for about 10 minutes.

Here's the main site if you want to browse other lolcats:

Agreed on the comments not being illiterate, but deliberately written that way.

I would also refer you to LOL Together, a LOLcat filk.

It's worth noting that LOLCode is quite possibly the best programming language ever written.

If the first rampant AI speaks LOLCode, I shall personally have to travel back in time and see that it is never invented.

And I shall personally travel back in time and stop you. In fact, I'll bring the AI back with me, so it can be invented even earlier. Now that I'm thinking about it, this has probably already happened.

Kwea, I'm with you. I think I get it but I seem to lack whatever form of visualization/auralization that seems to make other people find it endlessly charming/funny/cute.

I thought it was funny. Not 'lol' funny, but probably smile worthy. I think the biggest problem I had is that they probably weren't the best singers in the world. That and why did she have a guitar that she never played? That distracted me.

*shrug* I think you have to find lolcats funny to find their song about it funny. I liked it just out of joke recognition [Smile] A lot of the jokes in the song are old lolcats jokes.

I had a pigeon fly through a chimney into my apartment in Denver once, it took awhile to get it out the patio door.
