One of the fundamental flaws of the system--idiots get to vote. I'm glad voting isn't mandatory.

It's hardly surprising. These people sound far more articulate then some of the slathering folks I have heard from my state.

The false premise there is that if people knew any better, they'd all choose Ron Paul.

From the sound of things, they don't know the policies of the people they want to vote for any more than they do of Ron Paul. If you actually sat them all down and gave them a real overview of the policies of Obama, Clinton, McCain and Paul, there's no guarantee as to who they'd pick, and given their rather simplistic concerns, and the fact that they appear to have nothing better to do than hang out at the beach all day, I'd almost be inclined to say that a real break down of the consequences of Paul's policies would probably turn them off to him, and though that is a guess, it still remains there this isn't the reason that Paul lost.

I don't really like Ron Paul's policies at all.
I believe in REASONABLE gun control.
His view on racism gets under my skin.
I don't like his views on education and taxes at all. He's got a point about Iraq though. And homeschooling. And not taxing tips, but I am not a fan of him and lean more towards Obama.
I didn't watch the whole video, but, you can't expect people to know everything about politics, especially if they just want to chill on the beach.
Politics is getting depressingly American Idol-ish

Hell it's a lot of work being up on all the candidates policies. Especially when the main stream news media doesn't actually bother to do it's job and parse them for us. I mean the news media is supposed to be the ones we can go to for succinct accurate summaries of each of the candidates policies and positions. Instead you have to dig through the candidates website and make your way through pages of hugely detailed politijargon to make sense of them. You can hardly blame those folks for not knowing.

And the beef a lot of them have with Hilary, that she's a b**ch is actually a legitimate beef. To translate it: she uses extremely negative dirty politics to win at any cost and is at this point doing more damage than good.

While I agree, calling her names is hardly taking the high road.

Yeah but like Tina Fey said: "B**ches get stuff done."

Personally I don't think it is that much work to really find out what their policies are. An hour here or an hour there. Frankly it looks like all these people got all of their information from random snippets off CNN and Fox. An hour of really looking could tell most of these people what they'd really want to know. But I wonder if any of them really even care that much.
