That's funny, the most recent Christmas special with Whoopi Goldberg (the It's a Wonderful Life knockoff) had almost the same plot. Someone wants to own and destroy the Muppet theatre and they have it declared a historical landmark to save it.

Yeah, I remember that special. Except for Joan, a couple of shout-outs to classic Muppet moments, and a decent song, it was pretty forgettable.

I'm starting to feel a little bit more comfortable about it myself. I think the whole "getting the gang back together" thing could work as an interesting plot devise.

No, that was when they first met each other. There was no "back together." It was more like an initial meeting.

ElJay and I loved frog legs until after that movie came out. I don't know if she still can eat them, but I can't -- they make me gag uncontrollably.

Yea, I guess your right. It has been years since I saw the first one. Still, getting back together seems too close to getting together in the first place.
I would rather just watch the first and second ones as they were the best of the bunch.
