I'm not so sure Frank Miller's Spirit movie will be worth it. So much of his advance promos seem to point more towards something in the vein of his Sin City stuff, instead of something faithful to Will Eisner's seminal work.

(For that matter, I'm still not sure anything about Watchmen will work out right.)

It's a heckuva undertaking, no question- the narrative structure of Watchmen doesn't exactly scream out "make a movie of me" in any case.

But I dare hope.
