Apparently! The long-awaited full theatrical trailers for The Dark Knight, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, X-Files: I Want to Believe...and probably several other films that have been rather late in the trailer game.

Even if I didn't want to see Iron Man (which I do want to see), that'd make me want to see it just to catch most of those trailers. No kidding!

Can't you usually see trailers online as soon as they hit theaters? I thought the days of buying movie tickets to see trailers were over.

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense: Other than Cloverfield, most of the pre-May 2008 films haven't had much of an "Oo, I -have- to see that!" buzz.

Iron Man is not only opening the summer blockbuster season, it has a huge buzz. Thus, it's the perfect film to attach the full trailers to.

Sometimes you can, sometimes you can see it earlier, and sometimes it's more than a week afterwards.

And some trailers (like the full theatrical for WALL-E) are best appreciated on the big screen. [Cool]
