Really.

Back in the mid-90s, Marvel desperately tried to get people interested in the Avengers again. Among other things, they revealed Tony Stark was evil and had secretly been working for a bad guy since almost day one. They then replaced him with a "totally RADICAL" teenager Tony Stark from an alternate reality.

Needless to say, it failed to draw in new fans.

After a summer in which a very traditional, decidedly not a teen version of Iron Man was a huge hit with audiences of all ages, I'm wondering if kids really will accept Teen Tony version 2.0...especially when the human characters are animated in such a herky-jerky, ugly manner.
