I liked Tony Snow the most of Bush's spokespeople. Ari Fleisher always acted like a jerk, Scott McClellan was a tool, and Dana Perino is, well, a word I don't like to use very often. But Tony Snow, while stonewalling with the best of them, I think was a genuinely nice, good person. It's too bad that he's gone now. He left the White House to battle his ongoing cancer, and also because of financial problems. And he was still a fairly young man by today's standards.

He would guest-host for people on talk radio sometimes, when they were gone. He was a riot - really good at bantering with people in the most pleasant way. I often wished he would do it full time.
