Has anyone posted here about Uncle Orson's articles in Mormon Times? They'll be enjoyed mostly by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but many of them are really awesome. I highly recommend them. He rarely talks about politics and I skip those, since we are just about polar opposites on politics. But a lot of them are just about Mormon life, Mormon wards, callings, families, and so on, and they're just wonderful.

Here are the links to all his MT columns. I don't know if this is posted elsewhere on the site, since I only really come here to the BFFAC forum. I wanted to put it here in case there are others like me here who didn't know about the articles yet. I just happened upon them somehow. I don't even remember how. Check them out. Often they bring tears to my eyes of joy and recognition. I find them generally inspiring.

Thanks, Uncle Orson, for these columns! I'm really glad I'm a member of this church.

We've had several threads on this, haven't we? Or were they on the Other Side? Who knows... I enjoy some of them. [Smile]

[Smile] Sorry if it's a repeat. I think of the sides as being divided by audience more than subject matter. Maybe I should check out the other side more often. If anyone would like to post links to the other threads, feel welcome!

Nauvoo just opened up a new forum devoted solely to the Mormon Times columns. Not too many responses yet, but I'm guessing it's because it's so new. I also think the disclaimer at the top of the section may hold people back from posting...

I love the "In the Village" columns. They offer a great insight into Mormon life, and are usually faith-reaffirming. I really hope they continue.

Brian, we've been asked not to link to Nauvoo. Just FYI. [Smile]

The actual request has been that we not link to specific discussions/topics/threads at Nauvoo, not that we refrain from linking to the site at all. Linking to the forum is probably closer to linking to the whole site than to a specific topic, but just to be on the safe side I'm adjusting your post a little bit, Brian. Anyone looking for the forums there can find it with little difficulty.
