Hi everyone,

About two years ago, someone on Hatrack (I think it was here...) linked to an interesting online game. It was some kind of game that runs within a website, like java or something.

The game would begin with a bunch of lines and vertices on the screen. The object was to use the mouse to move vertices in such a way so that the lines connecting them would no longer cross over each other. In a way, it was sort of like unfolding a virtual 3-D object into a planar shape of some kind.

I used by best google-fu and Hatrack-search-fu and came up dry. If you know what I'm talking about, your help would be appreciated.

Planarity?

Does this mean I'm like a Google-fu Master?

Found a link to the game on the 3rd result on a search for:
flash game lines and vertices intersect

Wow, that's an amazing game concept.

I continue to marvel at the fun to be had in simple puzzles invented by humble beings.

I love this game. After I finish playing, I still feel myself unfolding lines in my head.

It's fun how you start a new level and it looks impossible, but then eventually all falls into place.

I don't think of it as a game to solve as much as a fun activity, since it doesn't seem to get any harder with new levels, just more to do and less space to work with.

Just for the heck of it I tried to skip to the highest level I could. Entered 200 and my browser locked up on me.

Skipping to 50 is more than enough... The levels are created mathematically.

Thanks sci!

I hereby award you a black belt in google-fu. My search yielded nothing since I has entered 'java' not 'flash'.

Friday afternoon issues for me, I guess.

I immediately thought of this game, untangle. Same concept as the other one posted.
