More likely the "oh gross" factor ala the pairing of HarrisonFord and AnnHeche for Six Days, Seven Nights which totally bombed at the box office. And since RussellCrowe has a reputation for good openings while SiennaMiller isn't viewed as someone who can carry a film...

Wait, am I missing something here? Russel Crowe is the Sheriff of Nottingham in this movie... What love scene? Isn't he supposed to be repulsive to Marion?

And she's crazy, too. But, then again, if I were stuck on a deserted island for a long period of time, I'm willing to ignore certain observations.

Sienna Miller is such a train wreck anyways. She does stupid things (has flings with married men)and says even dumber things (makes comments about how horrible an American city is while filming there.) Who even said she had any skill anyways?

Don't you know, the Sheriff's really a big ole misunderstood softie.

Maybe it's a "reimagining".

The high concept for Nottingham is that the "real" Robin Hood dies, and the Sheriff ends up taking his place.

Which sounds sort of...yeah. [Roll Eyes]

Oh man, it is a "reimagining"! I'd love to see the logic that's going to make this work.

It's a "reimagining"... by Ridley Scott.

Since he was able to rewrite the history of the Roman Empire, I'm sure he can do this too.

As a human being, she may be a trainwreck (then again, so is Russell Crow), but she was great in Keen Eddie. I loved that show and am so sad it didn't last long.

All of this is just too scary and weird for me.

I'll just stick with the Disney version, thanks. I always liked the foxes.

Pretty mean stuff, although it's kind of nice to see male stars getting the heat for body image for a change.
Um, except that he gets to keep his job while his co-star is fired. Yeah, that's a real punishment for being older and less attractive than Sienna.

From which the space-time continuum has yet to recover.

Damn you, Scott! Damn yoooou!... [Wink]

But, seriously, isn't Miller being in better shape than Crowe a reason to ditch Crowe, not Miller? I know Crowe and Scott have a lot of history together, but jeez... Get the man a trainer or something.

I suspect that Sienna was fired for other reasons.
