More of the film's scope and content are revealed...

...mainly the comedy and fantastical adventure elements. Wondering if any of the trailers will hint at certain melancholy, adult elements that make up the back-story. Hmmm.

I'm simply incredulous as to how Pixar always manages to take concepts that seem simplistic and childish and turn them into something fun and adventurous. Every time they have a new movie in the works I strongly suspect it's going to be fun, and yet I'm no less surprised when I see the trailers.

And often their trailers are misleading. When I saw the first teaser for Finding Nemo, I was certain the annoying blue fish would ruin the film.

Then she ended up being my favorite character. Go figure. [Smile]

She actually almost did ruin the movie for me the first time I saw it. I've learned to tolerate and even like her a little bit, and since then the movie has improved for me immensely.

This has been stated before: why do they even bother with trailers? I'd buy tickets for their next FOUR movies right now if I could.

The trailers are not about awareness, they're about anticipation.

And lowering expectations so the audience is completely blown away when they see the movie.

At least, that's what I think their scheme is. It's worked for me for every PIXAR film since Toy Story 2.

"SQUIRREL!"

I really should just throw all of my money into Pixar stock or something.

The last trailer didn't do much for me. This one looks really good. Of course it does though, its Pixar.
