Do you have a business... or some other... thing? Do you, for some reason, need a website?

I'd like to make it for you. I have some spare time and need to keep productive.

Here are my terms: You tell me what you want, and I make it. If you don't like it, you don't pay. (You don't pay anyway. This is a freebie.) But also, if you don't like it, you agree not to use it so I can hang onto the design and maybe use it, or its parts, for something else -- like in the future.

This offer does not include webhosting.
This offer is only good for one hatracker.
Don't expect perfection in the first try. There will probably need to be some back-and-forth so I can tailor it to your needs.
Expect it to take a little time. I don't know how much exactly, but 6-8 weeks seems like a decent estimate.

Any takers?

I'd really like a website devoted to my music projects and such... would you be interested in such a project? The only thing it would really have to do is host my files, plus some basic information and maybe a blogging page of some kind.

Actually, the files are hosted on fileden, I just need a place for links and some info, but I have no clue about web design or how to get a site.

My Acapella group is looking to make a website. It would pretty much need to look sleek and cool, maybe have some format to listen to sample music, group info and stuff. It'd be cool to have creative input.

Okay. Those both sound fairly simple. I'll go ahead and plan on doing both. When you find the time, will you each email me through the board with a few thoughts....?

Do you have anything specific or unusual in mind for the navigation? Or will a basic top menu or left menu suffice? Any preference as to color scheme? Would you like a forum? (On the face of things, I see no reason for this based on what you've both said so far.) A blog? Would you like the websites to do anything in addition to what you've already mentioned? For instance, Orincoro -- I seem to recall you do private music lessons? Would you like a page about that with a way for interested potential students to contact you? What do you see as the purpose of having this site? What do you want the site to accomplish, etc.?

Good, questions, I need to consider my thoughts on that. I have a few general purposes that I would like to accomplish, but I'll have to nail it down.

Oooh. That's what I get for not checking in over the weekend. I could have really used the design.

I'm in between semesters in Web Technology ... I've got a full Adobe suite including Dreamweaver, but also a little experience with WordPress. I might be able to help other people who need websites. My email is my nick at Gmail.
