The thread title is pretty objective, but the story is not.

Or rather, the story appears objective...it's just that it's describing the behavior of a power-hungry authoritarian moving to seize control of one of the last bastions of his media opposition.

Honestly, it's fascinating to me how Pres. Chavez can take actions like this and still have anyone label him as something other than a strong-man or a dictator, or at least some lesser version of those titles. Especially amusing was how apparently the TV station reported that there was no damage in the earthquake, yet the government claims it was fear-mongering, hate-mongering, endangering the people, etc.

What possible way does, "Earthquake causes no damage," do any of those things?

They admitted that there *had been* an earthquake. That's just pointless isn't it? Earthquakes aren't real. Nothing can destroy the party. The part is forever.
