Hermit crabs. They are so adorable. I have 3 of them, August, Shy and Toguro who is in a painted shell and won't get out of it.

But I have to get a fish tank and several other things next week when I have more loot.

What is it called when you have an irrational fear of hermit crabs? My sister used to stick her hermit crabs in my face and tell them to eat me when I was like 3...*shivers* they creep me out.

Be careful when they molt. I had two hermit crabs once, and when one molted and was still soft, the other one ate him.

Really?! I had no idea they did that! I suppose that it makes sense, they are carnivores after all.
