I am not Santa, but I play one at parties. (I'll be logging off soon to do the last one of the season shortly).
Last night, for a small group with but two young children, and a lot of grown up children, the 10 year old had a letter waiting for Santa. It went as follows:
Dear Santa:
You are my hero.
All I want for Christmas is to be for like you. And please make every one get what they want. And please make the homeless get what they want.
Please Santa, make my wish come true.
Great kid.
While on my lap he did ad Duck Hunt and a Go Cart to his wish list, and did get the Duck Hunt game while I was there, but still, great letter.

That's a really sweet story. But part of me is worried that 10 year olds still believe in Santa Claus!
