Im trying to narrow down my list of causes for frequent random computer freezes which after a good dusting out I have determined is NOT the fault of my video cards.

So any ideas currently all I have is Spybot search and destroy and m zone alarm trial expired.

AVAST is good but it was unable to get rid of the malware it found on my computer. Malware Bytes is great.

Even with a boot scan? That's always worked for me in the tricky cases.

Ooh, thanks for the Malwarebytes recommendation. It just squished some trojans that had eluded both Avast and Spybot.

Avast, Spybot S&D, Spyware Blaster and Windows Defender.

All free, all good. [Big Grin]
