I'm trying to find the Dr. Who song that was frequently played at dance clubs back in the 80's and early 90's. My google-fu is weak, and I don't know the artist. Any ideas?

After the movie Amadeus came out some European techno group came up with "Rock Me Amadeus".

Some one changed the words to "Doctor Who". I remember hearing it about 2 times. To the beat of "Rock Me Amadeus" came the lines, "Doctor Who Doctor Who--Da Doctor, Doctor Who, Doctor Who. Da Da Doctor Who."

Is that the one you mean?

Sheesh, that's child abuse.

My son is always asking me to please stop torturing him with my music. [Razz]

Do you mean a techno Dr. Who theme song remix?

Orbital did one of those. I do not know if this is old enough to be the one you are thinking of, though.

Yup, KLF. It turns out my daughter had already run across a semi-altered version of that.
