so i replaced a leaky hose and connectors with no problem so far (knock on wood)

some parts still squeak... i don't know if it has always squeaked or just because I am paying attention now or what

can I lube it up with some WD40?

the parts in specific I am talking about is the drive shaft for the belt motor, and the driveshaft for fan on the drain hose...

any help?

How bad is the squeaking? You most certainly can spray the drives with some lubricant; it's unlikely to hurt, and might even help.

Use a good quality spray lube, something with silicone, PTFE (teflon) or lithium in it. WD40 quickly evaporates and will require frequent re-application.
