I can't tell you how many times I've watched Stand and Deliver. I only wish I had a small fraction of his natural teaching talent.

That was a great movie, made even better by being based on a real man and his fight for his students.

Escalante also did many amazing things after the Stand-and-Deliver-inspiring events. He was a great man. The world is poorer for his loss.
