I just had I think a magnitude 1~ earthtremer here in Montreal, it was awesome! My first one that I wasn't asleep during!

The house start shaking and I was like "huh... the dishwasher isn't on..." and then I was like "huh... but no one is coming up the stairs..." and then "and I don't see anyone parking into the house..." and by the time I decided it was an earthquake it had already stopped!

So of course I had to Text my friend who was ahead of the seismic wave about how cool it was

My mother (in Rochester, NY) just called and told me she also felt an earthquake. Very small, lasting only about 20 seconds, at 1:43 EST.

In Miami I use to live on the edge of the Everglades, less than a mile away from where they did blast mining for limestone.

Every now and then, in the middle of the day, the whole house would shake violently for a second or two. You can almost literally see the wave passing from one end of the house to the other.
