This is for people in the USA. I have been diagnosed with a generalized anxiety disorder. Lexapro stopped working. Welbutrin was VERY bad for me (caused extreme anxiety, panic attacks, and suicidal thoughts). My doc has put me on Cymbalta, and it has done wonders. Problem is, the cheapest price I can find is $140 per month. Considering the pay cuts I'm going to have in a month (though I'm very thankful that I still have a job), $140 is a lot to add to my budget (Lexapro and welbutrin didn't cost near that much.)
So, internet surfing brought me to a Canadian pharmacy that does online orders to USA. 5.5 months from them will cost the same as 2 months here. That's a huge savings.
Has anybody from USA ever done online ordering of meds from Canada? How has your experience been?
I'm assuming that it is legal. Anyone know anything to the contrary?
Thanks for your help, all!

I know a few people who use Mexican pharmacies, but rather than receiving their meds by mail, they drive there to pick up prescription medicine in bulk. I have investigated online pharmacies, many of which were from Canada, when I was looking for cheaper meds.
quote: Thus, in virtually all instances, individual citizens are prohibited from importing prescription drugs into the United States.
So the letter of the law usually prohibits use of meds that travel across borders by individuals in the US.
However, depending on how "letter of the law" you are, those people I know that use Mexican prescription drugs have found efficacy in their meds, and they have saved a ton of money.

picking up them in another country is not illegal. Having them transported by mail is, as far as I know.
