Just got back from seeing them live in concert at the Warfield in San Francisco. Great show. Awesome group. Very odd... for those that don't know, they are entirely instrumental, and in concert they say very, very little. Sometimes nothing between songs, if anything no more than a couple of words. Like "Thank you." or "Old song."
Amazing show, though. I had a great time. I guess I just wanted to share. Anyone else here a fan?

Yeah, that's Ratatat. I think my favorite song of theirs is this one. In any event, I was really surprised at how great a show they put on, considering it's just the two of them.

Seems like instrumental rock and electronic music is having at least a bit of a renaissance these days. Not only are there some good instrumental-only groups like Ratatat, but a lot of other good bands are including one or two instrumental songs in their albums.
