"Collide" by Howie Day
"Attitude" by The Replacements
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
"I Will Follow You Into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie
"Screw You" by Garfunkel and Oates

And I'm sure there are several more that I overlooked - and many more than that that I rediscovered or was simply thrilled to hear in the show.

Garfunkel and Oates is a repeat of Death Cab.

Here is the Garfunkel and Oates re-recorded version that may be NSFW. I blame the kazoos.
F*** You.

I first heard that version of Over the Rainbow on ER, the episode where Mark Greene dies...it touched me, and I looked it up.

Great song.

The show's use of that Colin Hay song is one of its coolest and touching moments:

The setup is that the dying woman tells JD earlier in the episode that she thinks death will be like a musical.

Speaking of Colin Hay, Overkill was great too.

I also liked Jon Brion's version of Voices (originally by Cheap Trick).
