Here's the link

I'm not saying that Monsanto hasn't done some things of value.

But hiring people to spam Reddit? I admit, I'm not the most calm, mild person on the issue of nutrition. However...I do what I do out of a sincere desire to learn and spread the truth. Increasingly I care less about spreading it, because people just want me to shut up so they can eat their GMO corn! But I still learn about it.

Who do you think is lying to you about nutrition? Those with money on the line, or those who just want to know the truth?

If that is the only logic needed to decide on who is telling the truth then that would mean just about every conspiracy theory ever created is true.

9/11 was an inside job, the Fed is run by the NWO, vaccines cause autism, etc.

Some people like to be the keepers/revealers of truth. It plays to their ego and gives them a sense of purpose. You don't have to have money on the line to be invested in an idea that you are wrong about. These people aren't necessarily lying but they are often mistaken.

you can have money on the line and be correct.

you can 'just want to know the truth' and be completely, absolutely full of it

The people who fluoridate our water or make vaccines have money on the line over whether people believe in fluoridation and vaccination's positive effects. Their opponents who 'just want to know the truth' are wrong on a basic factual and scientific level.

lying vs. honesty only matters after we have dealt with the basic problem of correct vs. incorrect.

Meh, most conspiracy theorists are in it, if not for money, than for ego, fame, or some other self-centered reason. These people have motivations that aren't impossible to understand- and they go beyond "spreading the truth." Just like Wikileaks and Bradley Manning, you don't have to scratch too far below the surface to see that there is more going on there than "I want people to know."

Hopes.
Dreams.
At least one surgical sponge, or as I like to call them "secret gifts from my doctor."
Last nights dinner, in a kinda-sorta way by now...
